About Hayley Lowe
Hayley was a teacher’s nightmare; her yearning for doodling was a concern for the analytical teaching environment and instead of the conventional University Education that her parents wished upon her she bent to her desires of Art. Hayley passed with colours at the Central Institute of Technology (CIT). Being of strong character and following art taught her to “follow your dream”
Being a person of an inquisitive nature Hayley set out in a journey of discovery and in 1995 went to Hong Kong where she gained employment with an international premium watch company. Working with a European company in an Asian Country taught her the “value of time”.
Hayley continued her experience by joining a company which was western owned but manufacturing in China, Hayley was given a task and that was to build a brand from nothing. And that she did, from one product the company after 2 years built their line to 18 and sold into Europe, USA, South America, Middle East and Asia. The brand that Hayley built was international and so strong that the brand alone was sold into Europe. She built an asset. Working with this company taught her the value of “building an asset through vision and art”
Hayley came back to NZ with a wealth of knowledge which led her into a position with Lion Breweries where she was instrumental in designing the Pub Posters which adorned beer drinkers and rugby fanatic’s walls during the late 90s. Then it was to Deloitte’s where she managed the Wellington graphic design team. Being back in NZ Hayley realised she had a “need to learn”.
In 2000 the accumulation of her experiences and her travel urged her to fill desires of travel to Europe, and she did. After negotiation Hayley contracted to the conferencing industry - travelling around Europe with production teams putting together and operating live presentations using Photoshop & Power-point for top CEO’s and government minister’s including HSBC, BT (British Telecom), BitC (Business in the Community), Knorr & Orange.
The time frames were very tight and often bedtime was not before 2 or 3am the day before a show! Working under pressure is just one thing that Hayley is amazing at!
One of Hayley’s accolades is in putting together a presentation for Prince Charles’s charity which he presented at Leeds football stadium with Hayley operating the show, another is being flown to Bangkok from New Zealand to design and operate an international conference for BAT PLC.
Hayley’s UK experience taught her the value of “working under pressure”.
Hayley met Callum in 2000 and their dreams were on the same plain, their desires were and still are the same, their travels were together and Callum compliments Hayley in her professional side through his knowledge in I.T. In 2004 Hayley and Cam settled back into NZ and Hayley formed Lime-Red Design Ltd to bring home her wealth of international knowledge.
That knowledge includes her learning’s from real experience which are; follow your dream, the value of time, the building of an asset through vision and art, the need for continual learning and the ability to work under pressure.
