Tips for creating a great ad:

  1. Work out exactly what you're selling – if you're not sure then how will your customers know.

  2. Your logo may be the most important thing to you but your customers want to know how you can solve their problems. Put your logo at the bottom.

  3. Make sure your customers know how they're going to buy from you – is it from your website, via phone or from a shop? The product and ad might look great but if your customer doesn’t have enough information to make a purchase then there's a problem.

  4. Have a punchy headline – you've got about two seconds to entice your customer to read on before they are drawn to the next item on the page.

  5. Don't put too much information in your ad – people are time-poor these days and a lengthy ad will put most people off straight away
